OUR PRoductBear Claw Cheesecake Co. would like to provide cheesecake for any occasion you choose to celebrate. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, a holiday, a bridal shower, a wedding, or simply "just because"--consider cheesecake as a unique dessert alternative. Our recipes create a lighter and fluffier cheesecake texture (resembling a rich mousse) as compared to some of the denser versions that traditional techniques and recipes produce. Bear Claw Cheesecakes are each 9" in diameter, and are made, packaged, and labeled in a State-licensed home-bakery in Wellington, OH.

Why "Bear Claw?"Bear Claw was inspired by my interest in nature and my love of bears. It also embraces a touch of my sense of humor and personality as I am able to incorporate bear puns. My aim is that my passion for simplistic, quality baking will be reflected in each cheesecake made with my "bear" hands.

Who We Are My name is Mikaela (Bush) Ziegler. I am the baker and owner of Bear Claw Cheesecake Co. As you've probably noticed, this is not a "typical" bakery--as I do not have a traditional store front or traditional hours of operation. Instead, I offer The Cheesecake Cabin as a self-serve, cheesecake roadside stand in which I sell the cheesecakes I bake out of my licensed home-bakery in Wellington, OH. I currently offer 32 different flavors. I do single orders as well as larger orders to cater weddings and other events. After ordering, cheesecakes can be picked up from The Cheesecake Cabin or I can arrange to meet you in Ashland, Mansfield, Mt. Gilead, or Delaware. I'm a middle school Healthy Lifestyles (Home Ec.) teacher and a cross country and track coach at Madison Local Schools. Teaching is my full-time job while coaching and baking are my favorite hobbies. With that being said, please allow a couple days advanced notice on orders to accommodate my schedule. As always, thank you for your continued support!
